GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
PRICES
By submitting a deposit for an invoice, you are consenting to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
The prices offered by Panelock Construction remain valid for 30 days from the quotation date and are subject to confirmation upon issuance of the invoice and receipt of the deposit.
WARRANTY
Panelock Construction provides a twelve-month warranty for Portable Buildings, safeguarding against defective materials and workmanship, if relevant, and exclusively for the original purchaser. The warranty excludes Additions & Modifications, Misuse, Improper maintenance, Accidents or Collisions, Acts of God such as flooding or storms, and damage due to weather conditions, as well as any intentional or negligent disregard for the standard operation of the building. Panelock Construction must be given the initial opportunity to conduct any necessary repairs. All transportation expenses to Panelock Construction are the responsibility of the purchaser.
INTENDED USE
Our products are designed to be portable and temporary, not permanent fixtures. If you intend to use them as permanent structures, please seek guidance from your local authorities regarding any relevant regulations and consult with a building certifier before making a purchase to ensure suitability for your intended use.
COUNCIL FEES & PLANNING PERMISSION
The buyer is accountable for covering all expenses related to fees, permits, and certificates mandated by their local shire council or any pertinent authorities. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that any product provided by Panelock Construction is suitable for its intended purpose prior to making a purchase.
MANUFACTURE & DELIVERY
Manufacturing will commence only upon receipt of the deposit. In the event of order cancellation, the deposit will be retained until the unit is sold and delivered to a new client, with a deduction of a 15% administrative fee from the invoice amount. Delivery or transfer of the unit will be withheld until all payment terms are fulfilled. Goods will not be dispatched until full payment is received.
Delivery of buildings must occur within 2 weeks of completion. If the customer is unable to accept delivery, a storage fee will be applied. For buildings up to 8m in length, the storage charge is $200 per week, and for buildings over 8m, it is $400 per week. Buildings will only be released after all storage payments are settled. Panelock Construction reserves the right to auction any buildings to recover unpaid fees. The customer will receive the balance of the auction proceeds after deducting the costs of transport, storage fees, auction commission, and any other associated expenses incurred by Panelock Construction as a result of the auction.
GENERAL
If particular performance attributes or specific statutory regulations necessitate deviations from the standard specifications of the products, it is the client's duty to furnish all necessary information to fulfill these needs. Additionally, the client is responsible for covering expenses related to engineers' or other specialists' fees and charges, as well as the costs of materials and labor required to meet the design specifications or statutory authority requirements. It is incumbent upon the purchaser to verify the suitability of the standard product specifications for their intended application and relevant regulatory compliance. Panelock Construction will not provide warranty or guarantee for any products used in a manner that deviates from their intended purpose.
PAYMENT
A 30% deposit is required upon issuance of the invoice by Panelock Construction. Delivery or transfer will not occur until full payment terms are met.
DISCLAIMER
Panelock Construction will not be responsible for any losses (including loss of profit), injuries, damages, or expenses (whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise) experienced or suffered by the purchaser or any third party due to the purchaser or any third party's failure to install or utilize the goods in accordance with recommendations, instructions, and intended use. Failure to follow recommendations, instructions, and intended use may impact your warranty.
